Federal Revenue Will Oversee Rural Products

In September, the Federal Revenue Service initiates the National Tax Compliance Program, aimed at overseeing individual rural producers through the cross-referencing of data from Income Tax Declarations and producers’ Cash Books, as well as the Economic Activity Registry of the rural property. Additionally, the e-Financeira, a database maintained by the Federal Revenue Service that reports all financial transactions of producers, will be scrutinized.

The objective of this oversight is to assess the declared revenues and deducted expenses by rural producers, as well as to analyze rural leasing and agricultural partnership operations and contracts.
